Finance Director DACH Core Diagnostics (m/f/d)
Provides financial counsel and support to the General Manager of the DACH Region [Germany, Austria, Switzerland] via the specific activities of FP&A, Acquisition Support, Value Creation, Customer Compliance and Order Entry. Implement and maintain appropriate finance/business support structures for DACH region Manage planning, reporting and analysis consolidation process Drive financial IBP process; proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency Review and analysis of monthly financial results; drive efficient communication and continuous improvement Provide financial counsel to theGeneral Manager for deal evaluation and other ad hoc analyses Establish and maintain strong customer compliance tools and controls Initiate, develop, implement and monitor economic profit and GMI programs in the DACH region Responsible for order entry / customer admin performance and processes for the DACH region Create and maintain a system of controls, implementing/monitoring Abbott policies and procedures Talent development - responsible for training, development and ongoing coaching of finance staff
Minimal Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance; Master's degree in business or finance desirable REQUIREMENTS / WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum of 4-6 years' track record in Senior Finance function Ability to build strong relationships at every level of the organization and with third party business partners and also to work in a matrix structure. Be accepted as a partner, show assertiveness and the ability to work under pressure, overcomes barriers within own organization, peer organization and virtual organization. High result and process orientation. Strong organizational and management skills. Ability to meet stringent deadlines and respond to requests on short notice. Experienced in leading teams. Decision making skills. Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Advanced MS Office knowledge. Strong team player. Fluent in German and English.
