HR Director Germany

You are responsible for human resources in our largest region in Germany with about 2,000 employees. While leading the transformation in our German local production facilities and regional headquarter functions, you closely liaise with your international peers to leverage successes. You further establish an open feedback culture and believe in empowering colleagues and managers at all levels to coach effectively. You know that talent management and succession planning are key enablers for the future success of our company. You drive the harmonisation of HR processes and the ERP HR system roll-out in your region. As part of the German leadership team, you will be involved in the business plans and goals. You bring the people plans to enable the business to achieve success. You will represent our company with internal and external stakeholders. You manage a team of 20 people and report to the regional CFO.

You likely hold a university degree in business or law – with a focus on HR or labour law – or, alternatively, a comparable qualification. You have a proven track record with 7+ years of experience in leading HR positions in a cross functional matrix operating organization, ideally in the FMCG sector. You are familiar with both the production and commercial side of the business. You are used to communicating necessary changes proactively and convincingly to management and the entire workforce. You lead your teams in a goal-oriented manner, motivate and develop your employees further and set priorities in a complex and changing environment. You value a good relationship with the works council.

As an integrative leader with a high level of self-motivation, entrepreneurial attitude and a focus on results, you are looking specifically for the cultural environment of a larger, successful medium-sized FMCG company. We assume that you are proficient in both German and English. The financial and other contract conditions correspond to the importance of the position. We are located in western Germany.
