Director (m­­/­­f­­/­­d)

We are looking for an ambitious, goal-driven leader with a strong track record and a proven ability to achieve results. You are able to develop and implement groundbreaking ideas, and you inspire and involve your team by creating a culture where everything is possible. You are passionate about art and understand the ever-changing demands on a world-class museum. You are capable of building strong relationships across different communities and cultures and welcome the chance to engage in public debate. Together with an excellent team, you will manage and strengthen an inclusive and inspiring space where visitors and staff feel valued and motivated. To succeed in the role, you should preferably live in the Kristiansand region. The ability to communicate in one of the Scandinavian languages would also be an advantage. The position is a five-year, fixed-term appointment, with the opportunity to extend.
