Patient Journey Partner (m/w/d)
Acts as trusted partner and is the primary point of contact between stakeholders and Chugai; the PJP shares the patient and stakeholder community needs internally, prioritizes and secures resources, and drives solutions that deliver outcomes faster.
A Non promotional customer facing role engaging in pro-active customer contact, driving partner projects around patient experience and improving patient pathways/care aligned to brand and medical strategies
Field based medico-scientific coverage of Chugais products, being responsible for:
identify leading influential experts in fields of medicine or research relevant to your product, e.g. senior physicians and professors (TAEs)
build peer-to-peer relationships with TAEs
provide medical and scientific information to respond to TAEs' technical questions about your drug or medical device
lead meetings with TAEs to discuss relevant scientific literature and address their enquiries
make educational presentations to senior doctors and researchers, for example on clinical trial data
respond to scientific enquiries from distributors and internal colleagues
gather information from TAEs as to how they are using our drugs
feed information back to marketing and sales colleagues to help develop marketing materials and commercial strategy
develop and deliver scientific training courses to other staff members and international distributors
provide information to clinicians with an interest in studying your drug in a different context, or with a different patient group from the one it was initially intended
coordinate trials to test the drug in different contexts
keep up to date with the latest scientific research and clinical data relevant to your focus drug or device
Discussion and presentation of scientific data/trial results
Information around Chugais pipeline in close alignment with EU medical team
Collaborating with internal stakeholders - providing training, supporting clinical research teams and serving as an SME (subject matter expert) on internal cross-functional teams.
Knowledge management - maintaining scientific and pharmacoeconomic knowledge
Strong input into local/regional medical strategies and support of local recruitment activities for Chugai EU trials
scientific expertise in the relevant therapeutic area
excellent communication and presentation skills
teamwork skills and an ability to work effectively with a variety of colleagues across the region
networking skills and the confidence to interact with senior experts on a peer-to-peer level
critical data analysis skills
a willingness to keep up to date with scientific literature
the ability to adapt your writing to meet the needs of different audiences, for example business-focused versus technical audiences
a high level of emotional intelligence to work effectively with stakeholders
commercial acumen
University degree (scientific, economic, or business degree) minimum M2 or engineer (Bac + 5 scientist).
An advanced degree in Life science (MD, PharmD, PhD Masters) and/or MBA is a strong preference.
